23 October / saturday:   10 am - Jim met constituents outside the Severna Park Early Voting site and at the Annapolis Senior Center Early Voting site in the morning.   Jim met with his USNA Alumni for a few moments to watch Navy beat Notre Dame at noon.  Jim then joined the Howard County rally and sign distribution efforts at the Chevrolet Ln HQ off Rt 40 near Ellicott City.  Jim then proceeded to a rally at Severna Park Library early Voting Site for Gov Ehrlich at 6pm
22 October / Friday :  Jim attended the Maryland Municipal League in the morning with LtGov  Mary Kane who spoke briefly.  Jim proceeded to visit numerous sign waving sites where his volunteers are sign waving in Howard and Baltimore County.
21 October / Thursday: 6pm   Jim met with  Hispanics for Conservatives rally at Ramshead/Savage Mill was well attended with Gov Ehrlich, Jeff Robinson and Bill Fiastro in attendance    830pm  Jim attended the Pasadena Business Associations candidate forum at the Earleigh Heights Fire Hall.

Fayette Street, Baltimore,MD; Howard County Chamber of Commerce - State Races Debate - Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel / 10207 Wincopin Circle / Columbia MD 21044 ; Severna Park Republican Women meeting; Baltimore County Chamber candidate forum, 5:30 to 8:00pm.

Anne Arundel Community College Candidate Forum, Arnold Campus, 6:30 to 9pm

17 October, Sunday:


Jim began the day in Pikesville at Goldberg's Bagels and other local businesses; then attended services with David Zwald at Severna Park Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Jim then proceeded to the Federal Hill Wine Festival at the Cross Street Market.

 

16 October, Saturday:

 

Jim began the day in the Hamilton Community for literature distribution, then Jim and supporters conducted phone banking at the Annapolis/West Street Victory Center. Jim attended the NAVY vs SMU football game pre-game tailgaters visiting many Class tents; and finished the day at the Knotty Pine Bar in Canton.

 

15 October, Friday:

 

BBJ Health Care Forum at Belvedere Hotel in downtown Baltimore.

 

13 October, Wednesday:

 

Jim spoke at the Fells Point community association meeting at the Cristo Rey HS on Chester St.

 

12 October, Tuesday:

 

Jim spoke at the Halethorpe Community Association candidate forum

 

11 October, Monday:

 

Jim campaigned in Canton

 

10 October, Sunday:

 

Jim attended the Columbus day Celebrations in Little Italy, then the 4th annual AHEPA Chapter Crab Feast in Annapolis, and the Jessup Community Shrimp Feast and Candidate Forum.

 

3 October, Sunday: 

 

Jim attended the second day of the Fells Point Festival in downtown Baltimore.  

 

2 October, Saturday: 

 

1) Jim began the day at Heritage Community Church meeting with their Men's group. 2) Jim appeared at the Maryland Federation of Republican Women’s Fall Convention with Keynote speaker Mary Kane and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett. 3) Jim walked in the Highland Days parade in Howard County with many other candidates and supporters. 4) Jim attended the Fells Point Festival in downtown Baltimore with volunteers at the Republican booth. 5) Jim completed the day with joining the almost 6,000 people attending the 5th Annual Corn Roast in Reisterstown to support Bob Ehrlich and many other great Republican candidates. 

1 October, Friday:

  

1) Jim attended services at Beth Tfiloh with Rabbi Wohlberg and Rabbi Daniel Lerner. 2) In the evening, Jim attended the Howard County Chamber of Commerce Annual Signature event at the Turf Valley Country Club. 

September 2010

30 September, Thursday:   

 

Jim attended the Americans for Prosperity (AFP) meeting in Perry Hall where the County Council candidates answered questions from the audience.  The Democratic candidates were invited but failed to attend the event.

 

29 September, Wednesday:  

 

1) Jim distributed literature at the Seven Mile Market in Pikesville with many volunteers. 2) Jim provided a motivational speech at a meeting for volunteer at the Anne Arundel County District Headquarters in Glen Burnie.

28 September, Tuesday:  

 

1) Jim attended the West County Chamber of Commerce meeting in the morning where Col. Thomas spoke about BRAC and its affects on the Ft. Meade area. 2) In the afternoon, Jim spoke at the Bay Forest Senior Center to residents about the Health Care bill ramifications and held a Question and Answer session. 3) In the evening, Jim attended the Greater Towson Community Chamber of Commerce Candidate Meet and Greet event at the 7 Bistro Grille in Towson. 4) Finally, Jim debated Congressman Sarbanes at the League of Women's Voters Howard Community College forum.  A video of the debate will be available on our website.

25 September, Saturday:  

 

1) Jim and many volunteers in the Rogers Forge area of legislative district 42 distributed literature for Wilhelm for US Congress, Bob Erhlich for Governor, Steve Bailey for State's Attorney, and the District 42 State General Assembly Slate Kevin Carney (Senator), Susan Aumann, John Fiastro and Bill Frank (Delegates). 2) Jim and his supporters walked in the Jessup Parade. 3) Jim attended the Canton Wine Festival and the Hampden Republican Club's Crab Feast.

23 September, Thursday:  

 

1) Jim met with the WERAK Foundation founders to discuss their health care initiatives that would greatly decrease costs by improving the necessity for defensive medicine, through tailoring care to each person's individual body type based on their immunological, genetic, molecular and hereditary information. 2) In the evening, Jim attended the "Project Prosperity" Economic Development planning meeting led by Park Place residents with Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen and Herb McMillan, candidate for House of Delegates. 

 

22 September, Wednesday:  

 

Jim met with Congressman Ryan (Wisconsin) at a private Town Hall event to discuss future policy initiatives for the upcoming 112th Congress.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 20 September, Monday:

Jim attended his Happy Birthday Fundraiser at Ramshead, Savage Mill.  Thank You, Steve Adler and all the supporters who helped Jim celebrate his 48th birthday.

19 September, Sunday:

Jim campaigned at the Essex Festival with Bob Long and other great Republican candidates.  Jim then attended the Jewish Museum's 50th Birthday celebrations, then hopped over to the Frank Zappa festival and monument dedication in Highlandtown.  Jim then traveled over to the Fells Point Street Beat Festival.


18 September, Saturday

Jim campaigned at the AA County fairgrounds after meeting with the Baltimore City Republicans in the morning to coordinate efforts with all the other candidates running for office in the Baltimore City limits.

17 September, Friday:

Jim campaigned at the AA County Fairgrounds Republican  booth.  Many candidates were present; but only one at the Democrats booth.

16 September, Thursday: 

Jim attended the Republican Unity Breakfast at Chartwell Country Club in Severna Park. 
Jim was busy campaigning at the Anne Arundel County Fair located at the fairgrounds near Crownsville.

15 September, Wednesday:

Jim attended the Maryland State GOP Unity Press Conference in Annapolis with all the candidates this morning.
Jim attended the Baltimore City Republican Club Lincoln/Reagan dinner at the Hampden Republican Club.

14 September, Tuesday

Jim was busy visiting many different precinct voting sites to meet and greet the voters, and then held his reception for volunteers and supporters to await the voting results......!!!!!     VICTORY WAS DECLARED AT 12:44 AM WEDNESDAY!

12 and 13 September, Sunday and Monday:

Jim and his volunteers were busy putting up signs. 

11 September, Saturday: 

Jim walked with many candidates in the Reisterstown Festival and Parade.  Great crowds and many supporters came out to see the parade.  That evening Jim was invited to and attended Steve Schuh's Crabfeast at the Kurtz beach pavilion in Pasadena.
 

9 September, Thursday: 

Jim attended the candidate forum at the Columbian Centre, 335 Richie Hwy in Severna Park hosted by the local Elephant Club.

8 September, Wednesday:

Jim attended  Rosh Hashanah services at the Owings Mills Jewish Community Center at 3506 Wynbrook Ave, Owings Mills, MD 21119 with supporters.

3 September, Friday:

Jim was invited to and attended the Hispanics for Ehrlich Rally at La Pa La Pa's  8307 Main St, Ellicott City  21043. Tito Munoz spoke for all the Hispanic conservatives that are supporting candidates like Bob Ehrlich and Jim Wilhelm.  He heads the Virginia Hispanic Conservative movement and is organizing one for Maryland.

2 September, Thursday:

Jim's Campaign Manager, LeRoy Thomas attended the Howard County Candidate meet and greet event while Jim was at the Md State Fairgrounds manning the Republican Booth in the exhibition hall with several other candidates.  

1 September, Wednesday:

Jim attended the Maryland Classified Employees Association (MCEA)  meeting in Westminster, MD.This union is endorsing Bob Ehrlich and Jim was very well received at this luncheon. 

August 2010

31 August, Tuesday:

Jim attended the Rally and Fundraiser for local candidate John Herbst in Pikesville, MD.

28 August:

10:00AM:

Jim attended Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally in DC.

6:00PM-10:00PM:

Jim attended the Maryland State Fair at Timonium Fairgrounds.

26 August:

6:00PM:

Jim went to the Ropewalk Tavern for a Baltimore Area Young Republicans Candidate Forum and Rally. Ropewalk Tavern is located at 1209 S Charles Streetl two blocks south of the Cross Street Market.

25 August:

Jim attended the Americans For Prosperity forum in White Marsh last night (Wed 25 Aug). There were over 80 people there including Delegate Joe Boteler, Al Redmer, and many others. When Jim introduced himself as running against and unseating Sarbanes he was very loudly applauded. Please continue to talk about our campaign, Wilhelm for Congress, and donate your time, effort and dollars.

24 August:

7:00PM:

Jim attended the Hampden Community Council Candidate Forum at the Roosevelt Recreation Center which is located at 1221 W. 36th St., Baltimore, MD, 21211.

22 August:

11:00AM:  Jim attended services at the Calvary Baptist Church in Dundalk with Bob Ehrlich at 7321 Manchester Road, Dundalk, as part of their Public Servant Appreciation days.  Pastor Giavonelli has held this event for several years.  Other Republican candidates in attendance included Bob Long, Ric Metzger, and Pat McDonough.  

1:00PM:  Jim showed his support for Bob Ehrlich at his fundraiser at Vaccarro's Restaurant at 222 Albemarle Street in Little Italy, Baltimore, and then walked and talked with the people at the Little Italy Festival held just up the street.

2:00PM: 
Attended the Hawks Club reception for Ehrlich at 403 Riverside Drive in Essex.

21 August:

9:00AM:  Jim participated in the Elkridge Day Parade along Old Washington Rd with many other Republican candidates.
    1:20PM:  Jim met many people at the car show and Carnival at the Rockburn Park Pavillion in Elkridge, Md. 

11:00AM:  Attended the grand opening of the Cardarelli for Congress campaign headquaters at 1623 York road Lutherville MD.

19 August:


6:30PM: 
Attended the Park Place Economic Development Community Awareness meeting at Park Place, to re-energize the West Street and Main Street business environment.  Thanks to Joyce Roper for inviting Jim to attend and meet local residents and business people.

:  Attended Anne Arundel Young Republicans meeting in Annapolis with Candidate for Comptroller, Bill Campbell and States Attorney Eric Grannon

15 August:

Jim spent the morning and afternoon campaigning at restaurants in a "Bagel Blitz" campaign event. Thank you George Faber for organizing this event. We began at Goldberg's Bagels on Reisterstown rd, proceeded to the Suburban House Deli down the street, then on to the Kosher Subway  further south, then to Seven Mile Market on 7 Mile Lane, then to TOV Pizza and finally ending at Van Gough Cafe.

14 August: 

8:30AM: Jim spent the morning with Andy Harris in Cockeysville for a rally and fundraiser at the Silver Spring Mining Company restaurant.

5:00PM:  Jim was joined by volunteers and participated in the parade at the Howard County Fair. 

10 August

10:00AM:  The Wilhelm for Congress Campaign had our candidate announcement at the opening of the campaign headquarters. The new headquarters is located at: 116 Legion Avenue, Suite 200, Annapolis MD 21401

8 August 

1:00PM: Attended Delegate Rick Impallaria (District 7) fundraiser near Parkville/Overlea/Putty Hill area, sponsored by Pat McDonough.  Over 100 people in attendance enjoyed the great food and Republican camaraderie.  Many candidates were also there to listen to the people.

3:00PM:  Howard County Fair - Jim was joined by several other candidates at the Republican booth at the fair.

7 August:  Triple Play Republican Clubs Rally and fundraiser in Pasadena, Md.  Many local, state, and Federal candidates enjoyed the great weather and talking with local folks,

5:00PM: Rotary Club Crab Feast at Navy Marine Corps Stadium - Jim joined thousands at this annual event and spoke with many Annapolitans.

7:30 PM  Jim attended a Howard County Rally and Fundraiser at La Palapa in Ellicott City.

3 August: 7:00PM - Speaking at the Howard County League of Women Voters Congressional Candidate Forum

2 August:  Met with constituents at the campaign headquarters opening for House of Delegates candidate, Vick Bernson and State Senate candidate, James King in Gambrills.

1 August:  Attended Rally & Fundraiser for House of Delegates (District 8) candidate, Norma Secura, in the Parkville / Overlea area of Northeast Baltimore.

31 July:  9:00AM: Attended state Senate candidate, Ben Lawless, shooting event / fundraiser in Bel Air, Maryland.

6:00PM: Attended U.S. Senate candidate, Jim Rutledge, Rally & Fundraiser in Crownsville, Maryland.

Attended Vick Berson Business Leaders breakfast with former U.S. Senator, Bill Brock, at Chartwell Golf & Country Club.

6:00PM: Attended Rally and Fundraiser for Marcelo Cardarelli, candidate for the 2nd Congressional District, at the Towson Country Club.

8:00PM: Attended annual District 42 Republican Club picnic in Towson.

7:00 PM: Attended Antique Gun Club meeting at the Knights of Columbus in Catonsville with Gov Ehrlich.

8 July:  Attended Americans For Prosperity Forum with guest speakers that included Del Steve Schuh at Anne Arundel Community College.

7 July:  Attended Baltimore County Lincoln Dinner with Gov Ehrlich, State Sen Andy Harris and Guest Speaker Dana Perino.

7:00 PM:  Spoke at District 32 Republican Club meeting at Severn United Methodist Church.

5 July:  Walked in Severna Park 4th of July Parade.  Many supporters and great response from the large crowd.

4 July:  Walked in and met with many supporters at the Annapolis Parade 4th of July Parade.

3 July:  Walked in Towson and Catonsville 4th of July Parades with many candidates and large crowds of supporters.

2 July:  Attended Gov Ehrlich's filing of his Lt Gov at the downtown Annapolis Board of Elections.

1 July:  Attended both Gov Ehrlich's announcement of his Lt. Gov. Mary Kane at the Silver Spring Towne Centre and at the Baltimore City Charter School on Biddle Street.

30 June:  Attended Fundraiser for Rutledge in downtown Baltimore.

28 June:  Attended Candidate Forum moderated for Paul Foer at Crush Wine House on West Street in Annapolis.

10 June:  Attended Red White and Blue Dinner - Maryland State GOP Dinner with special guest Mitt Romney, Michael Steele and Gov. Bob Ehrlich.

8 June:  Attended James King fundraiser with special guest Gov. Bob Ehrlich at Kaufmans.

5 June: 
Attended annual Greek Festival in Annapolis Lots of support for conservative values.

3 June:  Attended Better Business Journal Health Care Forum in Pikesville with private sector and public sector panel members.
